However, the situation makes it seems like the problems I am having relate somehow to a corruption of the ASAM data that was downloaded following the firmware update I performed. Address 08 itself does not come up as requiring an ASAM data download when I select it. In this situation, it appears that those modules listed after Address 08 still require downloading of the ASAM data, while those prior to Address 08 do not. However, when I then go back and select individual modules, some come up as still requiring a download of the ASAM data. When I respond that I do, it appeared to do so successfully. When I cleared the ROD files and try an Auto-Scan in Infrastructure Mode, after I cancel the Auto-Scan after it hangs, I receive a prompt asking if I want to download the ASAM data. I have tried clearing the ROD files and the Data Cache, but continue to have the exact same problem. It encounters the same issue whether in Access Point Mode or Infrastructure Mode, and I have tested it on two devices with identical results - first an iPhone (which also serves as the hotspot for Infrastructure Mode) and second a laptop running Firefox. Each time I try, it hangs while "Trying address 08," at 14% complete. Since performing the most recent firmware update to my Hex-Net (two days ago), I've had a problem when trying to complete an Auto-Scan with VCDS Mobile.
